FAQ
How our pricing works
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No. Travel in our core area, testing and your Electrical Safety Certificate are built into every price. There's no separate call-out fee and no hourly rate.
What does a 'from' price mean?
It's the price for the standard job described on each page (single-storey, roof-space access, timber-frame or cavity walls, normal cable runs). If your job is different, we tell you the fixed price before we start.
Why is the second item cheaper?
Once we're on site, set-up and travel are already covered, so each extra item on the same visit is at its lower 'each extra' price. Packages bundle the most popular combinations.
Can I supply my own fan, light or air con?
We supply what we fit, so the product and the workmanship are covered by one business. If you want a model that isn't listed, we'll quote it for you. We do connect your new oven, cooktop or hot water system.
How do I get a fixed price for my job?
Text a photo of the job (and your switchboard) with your suburb to 0439 763 748, call, or use the quote form. We reply with a fixed price in writing before any work starts.
How do I pay?
Payment is due on completion by card, PayID or bank transfer. Chargers and air conditioners need an equipment deposit when we order them.
What our 'from' prices include and exclude
- All prices are in Australian dollars, include GST and are 'from' prices for a standard job: single-storey, roof-space access, timber-frame or cavity walls, normal cable runs, weekday business hours.
- Each price is complete: travel in our core area (Swan Valley, Ellenbrook, Bullsbrook and north-east Perth), testing and your Electrical Safety Certificate. No call-out fee and no hourly rate. Further out, any travel charge is quoted upfront.
- The first item is at its listed price. Each extra item on the same visit costs less (the 'each extra' price).
- You get a fixed price in writing before we start. If we find anything outside the standard job, we stop and give you a fixed price before carrying on.
- Quoted separately: double-brick or limestone walls, two-storey or no roof access, long runs, trenching, supply or switchboard upgrades, asbestos meter panels, Western Power fees and after-hours work.
- We supply what we fit, from named brands. Chargers and air cons need an equipment deposit when ordered. Payment on completion by card, PayID or bank transfer.
